Many people ask why Summit Kidz even bothers with family devotionals. They are sometimes a lot of work and who really reads them anyway right? Well here’s why:
Family devotionals are part of our core values in Summit Kidz, we seek to empower parents with practical ways to share the love of Jesus with their child and build a tighter bond between parents and their children. We intentionally make the devotionals short and easy for anyone, even kids to do. We belive that even taking a few minutes in the morning or before bedtime to read through God’s Word, pray about the day and apply God’s Word to our lives will make a hugh difference not only in your child’s life but also your’s. Taking time in your day to spend one on one time with your children is important and adding God in that time can make an eternal difference. I challenge you to start praying today, for your children, with your children and take time in God’s Word with them. This can be a really fun time in your day and can help keep parents accountable in their own quiet time!
