Expect?

When you are sick and pray to feel better…what do you expect?

When you are in finacial trouble and you pray for a blessing…what do you expect?

When you are ready to give up and you pray for a miracle…what do you expect?

We all expect something in every situation.  When it’s raining and we walk outside we expect to get wet.  When we trip, we expect to fall.  But what if we didn’t; what if we didn’t get wet in the rain, what if we didn’t fall when we tripped?  What if we threw all our our expectations out the window?  The truth is we already have.

 

How Far Have We Gone?

How far have we run from God?  When T.V. and video games become more important than God’s Word.  When saying a simple prayer before we eat doesn’t ever cross our minds.  When family devotionals are replaced by family fights.

 

Only God Is Worthy Of My Worship

We kicked off our awesome series call Center Stage this week in Summit Kidz!  We really rocked it out as we learned that only God is worthy of our worship!  It’s ok for us to have stuff that is important to us, like toys, movies, and videos games, as long as those things don’t become more important than God.
